More than 45 years
Nkosibomvu Sec Schoool was established in 1976 as an initiative of eminent persons such as Mr Zulu A, Zama ,Mkhize and Ngwenya with the support of Tongaat Hullets Group under the leadership of
Charles Dent and CJ Saunders, Because the plot /site was donated by Tongaat Hullets Group ,the school was named after George Saunders who was called Nkosibomvu / the red king.
The school has always been associated with the Tongaat Hullets Groups .It had it first Senior certificate in 1982. Among its first students were MISS Khoza R.N ,the deputy principal of the school MR Cebekhulu
HSS also went through the school in 1979 . Mr Cebekhulu is currently our principal. The school has also excelled in sports and has average 90% in matric for the past 7years
